Originally named Paris Community Hospital and Family Medical Center, Horizon Health prides itself on being “big enough to meet your healthcare needs, but small enough to know you.” Since their founding in 1968, they have been committed to the innovation and advancement of healthcare while maintaining a feeling of family.  

CHANGING THEIR NAME

PCHFC serves communities beyond Paris, IL, and felt it was essential that their name reflect that. Full of potential and hope, Legato assisted in creating the name Horizon Health because it suggests a pioneering spirit, and a hospital committed to bringing the best solutions to the people it serves. Aspirational and optimistic, the name encapsulates anticipation of good times to come, as well as the day-to-day aspect of “living on the horizon” in the open landscape of their area. Horizon Health is also a reminder of their organization’s commitment to the future. 

AN UPDATED LOOK

As part of this branding project, we created a new logo, internal and external brand launch campaigns, revamped their website, updated their brochures and the ad look and feel, and created new environmental signage.

The new Horizon Health logo represents the region and the landscape surrounding Paris, IL. The “HH” emerging from the horizon line suggests that a bold, confident future is ahead, while the colors reflect traditional healthcare values with a dose of forward thinking.
